The Technical Leadership Certificate program, offered by the UW–Madison College of Engineering’s Office of Interdisciplinary Professional Programs in cooperation with the Center for Professional and Executive Development, provides innovative management training for technical professionals transitioning into managerial and leadership roles.

Learn about capital budgeting, coaching and mentoring, intellectual property issues, managing technical teams, process improvement and more through your classroom experience. You select six courses from a list of 11 possible course options, enabling you to tailor your curriculum to your individual needs. Program content is constantly reviewed and updated to ensure that it meets the changing demands placed on leaders in today’s global economy.

There is no cost or commitment to enroll in the certificate. By signing up, you will receive discounts on individual courses and periodic program updates.
